A short but relatively steep ferrata, fully secured with a steel cable, featuring a short vertical step at the summit exit (requires some upper body strength). Recently, a descent path has been marked from the summit.
By car to Passo Gardena, park at the pass or from Selva Gardena take the Dantercepies cable car up to the top station.
From the pass, take the dirt road (starting from Hotel Cir) or follow a narrow trail to the top station of the Dantercepies cable car and from there, coming from Selva Gardena, climb another 15 minutes to the start, located above the top station.
A short hike, very scenic, beautiful views, easy access to the ferrata. Compact rock with good handholds on steep terrain. It's absolutely essential to have steady footing for the descent down the gully (many loose rocks and unstable debris, risk of rockfall).
A steep ferrata, optimally secured with thick and taut cable. Compact rock with good holds and footholds. Short distances between anchors. The exposure to the south allows for the hike to be undertaken in early season and late autumn as well.
From the summit, return by downclimbing the steep vertical step at the exit of the ferrata, then follow the steel cable to the left to the fork between the fourth and fifth Cima Cir. Descend to the bottom of the gully (unstable debris and rock), then continue to the right, rejoining the ascent route. 1 hour to return to Passo Gardena.
