Easy access and not particularly long; also considered a "mini-descent." The ferrata is short but very steep. Extremely exposed climb, directly up the rocky rib. Requires arm strength. Key sections are aided with rungs and metal footholds. A training ferrata, ideal for a short summer afternoon outing in good weather.
From Fiera di Primiero take the road through Passo Cereda, then turn towards Cant del Gal in Val Canali. Turn right and continue to Malga Canali, which is the starting point (1305 m, limited public parking).
From the malga, enter the valley via the dirt road (signed 711–707), cross the stream and climb the steep switchbacks to Rifugio Treviso, 1631 m (well signposted, path 707).
Short outing to be taken with caution, if trained, as a half-day excursion or extension from the nearby hut. Its proximity and simplicity make it a good "test" route before tackling longer and steeper via ferratas.
Very steep and highly exposed climb directly up the rocky rib. The climb is made easier by solid rock and good holds, assuming you have the right technique. In the central section, small ledges with unstable rocks; beware of climbers below. The steel cable is well-tensioned, not blocked between anchors.
