The climb is very varied, with some very steep and also exposed sections on entirely good-quality rock. You often find a thin steel cable with widely spaced anchor points. Iron rungs assist the final steep sections just below the summit. The climbing sections and the access trail require a steady and secure foot; even on the actual ferrata, there are a few exposed, unsecured spots.
From Dobbiaco in Val Pusteria, go through Val di Landro towards Fiames, just before Cortina; or from Cortina, head towards Dobbiaco until you reach Fiames. Camping Olympia (large sign) is about 4 km north of the Cortina exit or, coming from Dobbiaco, about 1 km after Hotel Fiames on the right. Limited parking is available at the entrance to the campsite.

The ferrata is directly signposted from the campsite (1283 m). Follow the forest road to the first junction, turn left (signs) and continue easily on trail no. 408 towards Passo Posporcora (signs for the ferrata). Then, climb a steep trail and over rock ledges (easy climbing) to reach the start of the ferrata.
A long but pleasant access route, which becomes steep and challenging after Passo Posporcora (1711 m) (brief grade I climbing sections). The descent is also long and partly steep; especially on the summit plateau, pay close attention to red markers and cairns (do not follow the trail heading west!). The ferrata itself is relatively short but enjoyable.
A relatively short ferrata, but not to be underestimated, with some steep passages on excellent-quality rock (climbing experience is helpful!). Apart from a few sections, the protection is solely with a steel cable, which is sufficient given the presence of good holds. The path runs directly along the ridge, at times very exposed. Both the ascent and descent are long.
Be careful on the summit plateau! It's easy to mistakenly follow the wrong path westward. The correct descent is marked in red (trail no. 447), it winds down from the summit toward the north (pay close attention to cairns at the beginning!).
