A short via ferrata, entirely secured with steel cables, with some crumbly areas and a few exposed spots.
In 2022, a new via ferrata was installed near Plan de Corones, between the towns of San Vigilio di Marebbe (Val Badia) and Valdaora (Val Pusteria). This Dolomite-style via ferrata reaches the panoramic summit of Piz da Peres (2507 m) and, while not extremely difficult, offers enjoyable climbing on long slabs, ledges, gullies, and exposed ridge sections. The route is rated as medium difficulty, with a few points that are more demanding (difficulty D) but overall remains accessible for most enthusiasts.
The Hans Kammerlander via ferrata is a very demanding route. The difficulty level, mostly D and C, also extends into E in certain sections.
