Ferrata degli Alleghesi

Grade
C

This is a high-altitude itinerary, very long, especially if done in a single day. The ascent is not particularly challenging from a technical perspective but requires excellent endurance and sustained concentration.

Via Ferrata Attilio Tissi

Grade
C/D

Demanding itinerary due to its length. The technical difficulty level is slightly higher than the Ferrata degli Alleghesi, though it is shorter. High altitude and wild environment are identical. A possible summit climb of Monte Civetta would crown the tour.

Via Ferrata Gianna Costantini

Grade
D

Extremely long ferrata, both in terms of elevation gain and prolonged descent. A decisively alpine route, with very tiring sections in the middle part requiring upper body strength and good footing. Most of the ascent is well-equipped with a taut steel cable in good condition. The long descent requires absolute sure-footedness, as it is only partially equipped. For this route, exceptional alpine experience, solid fitness, and excellent weather conditions are necessary.

Via Ferrata Fiamme Gialle Al Monte Pelsa

Grade
C/D

Ferrata and approach are both very long. Steep sections are often interrupted by bands of dwarf pine (mughi). Climb is well-equipped with a tightly tensioned steel cable and closely spaced anchors. Three bands of mughi (path by walking) interrupt the rocky steps; the first band extends over a good 200 m of elevation gain. Steep and long descent requires absolute sure-footedness.
